Platform Supply Vessels (PSV)

SEACOR Marine operates one of the industry’s largest and most versatile fleets of Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs), offering the flexibility to meet a wide range of offshore support needs. Ranging from 190 to over 250 feet in length, our PSVs are used primarily to transport essential material and equipment to support deepwater drilling and production operations. These vessels are also well-suited for construction and maintenance tasks typical of standard offshore supply work. With features including Dynamic Positioning systems, methanol carrying capability, high-volume liquid mud, and dry bulk capacities, customers can choose a PSV that meets complex offshore demands or customize solutions to address specialized requirements.

Hybrid PSVs

SEACOR Marine’s Hybrid PSVs are equipped with advanced hybrid battery power systems, integrating seamlessly with traditional diesel-electric propulsion. This combination allows for significant fuel savings, reduced operational costs and more reliable operations, particularly during dynamic positioning and low-speed transits. The battery systems provide additional power when needed, enhancing safety performance and efficiency across a variety of offshore tasks.

These Hybrid PSVs offer clear advantages for customers, including reduced fuel consumption and lower operating costs, all while maintaining the high performance and reliability expected from SEACOR Marine’s fleet. As the offshore industry shifts toward more sustainable technologies, our Hybrid PSVs also help clients meet their own environmental goals.

Newbuild Integrated Hybrid PSVs

SEACOR Marine’s newbuild PSVs are purpose-built, exceeding prevailing rules and regulations, with integrated hybrid power systems that combine diesel engines with an energy storage solution, integrated into the hull. These next-generation vessels will provide smoother, more fuel-efficient operations, especially during dynamic positioning and transits, resulting in savings in operating cost. These vessels will be built to the latest OSV Chemical Code, enabling the carriage of most chemicals used in various fields around the world, today. Scheduled for delivery in late 2026 and early 2027, these fully integrated hybrid vessels will be available for contract, offering the cutting-edge technology and performance that SEACOR Marine is known for.

Walk to Work and Floatel duties

Beyond their impressive cargo capacity, SEACOR Marine’s PSVs are equipped to provide high-quality offshore accommodation for personnel. Our larger PSVs are certified to meet the International Maritime Organization’s Special Purpose Ships (SPS) Code requirements. Compliance with the SPS Code ensures that our vessels are equipped with advanced life-saving, fire safety and accommodation systems, enabling them to safely host offshore workers for extended durations while meeting rigorous safety and operational standards. This certification allows SEACOR Marine to support a wide range of offshore activities including wind farm construction, platform maintenance, and subsea intervention, where the presence of specialized technicians on board is critical.

We also offer a range of Walk-to-Work solutions to ensure safe and efficient personnel transfers between our vessels and offshore installations. SEACOR Marine owns and operates a fleet of TAB-M SMST heave-compensated gangways, enabling reliable offshore access in dynamic sea conditions. When required, we can also source third-party gangways to meet specific project or client requirements.
