About the Vessel

M/V SEACOR CHEETAH, the first CrewZer Class vessel, is a 170 foot class Catamaran capable of carrying an amazing 150 passengers. Its twin-hull design allows a top speed in excess of 40-knots—more than twice that of conventional crewboats.

The rugged CrewZer class is designed and built to meet the specific demands of the oil and gas industry. The vessel is a powerful logistics tool that allows Logistics Managers to establish efficient loop-style routes between high-traffic platforms and shore-base operations. The optimized system increases passenger comfort and safety, improves personnel transport reliability, and dramatically reduces costs.

The CHEETAH is armed with a host of safety features, including the FROG personnel transfer system that protects passengers from the three most common forms of personnel basket incidents—falling, hard landing, and side impact.

The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art electronics, communications, and navigation systems. Its DP2 rating, combined with its wide, stable work deck, increases conventional operating windows, allowing the vessel to hold station in weather conditions where other vessels simply could not work.

With its range, low per-seat-mile cost, and advanced safety features, the SEACOR CHEETAH is ahead of the pack. Nothing else comes close.
